Last Eid-ul-Adha we performed Qurbani in Ahmadpur Sharqiya Ubqari Haveli. Ahmadpur Sharqiya is our ancestral hometown. It is a city that is thousands of years old, where once there was a state of Nawab Bahawalpur. And in this city was the original residence of Nawab of Bahawalpur, this is present with the name of Sadiq Garh Palace. This time our happiness was infinite because for the first time we were celebrating Eid ul Azha with my respectable father. By the grace of Allah, since I was born, he has been going for Hajj. But this time, the situation was different because of corona that is why he could not go. Therefore, whatever we sacrificed, by the grace of Allah, we distributed it among all the poor relatives. Those relatives used to pray for us. In the scorching heat and humidity of August, my younger brother and I went to every street to gift away meat. And our condition was getting so bad, you can’t even imagine. We distributed meat in the scorching heat and in the narrow and dark confined alleys, then took more meat and went again to distribute. This is the secret to make yourself and your generations rich. That may be people do not understand. When we came back after distributing meat, our father said though it was a little hot but you both earned a lot. We used to go to our relatives’ door and offer the sacrificial meat to our relatives very sincerely. That they prayed for us.
Ahmadpur sharqia is a historical city in the. Just like its city, its streets are also centuries old, narrow and dark. We go inside the streets, then there are streets further inside, after going much farther, we can see the home. And they used to pray for us. This whole system is called strengthening familial ties. This is the lesson that our father taught us. Allah is true and His promises are true. Allah has made promises on strengthening of familial ties; our life will be prolonged; our sustenance will be blessed. Believing in these promises, we were wandering in the streets and final intention was to please Allah. If you get the pleasure of Allah, then all your work and needs will be fulfilled before you slide your hands on your face to say Amen. And we are sure that we have got Allah's pleasure (Allah willing). You just have to work a bit harder to get your major wish fulfilled. Or you have to lose something in order to gain something. Now we have asked for blessings, complete faith, complete morals and complete sincerity for our generations to come will the day of judgement. So we also felt the heat, we also listened to the taunts of our relatives. It also affected our health a lot. I wanted that I will learn to make meat myself. I mean, I will learn how to skin a goat, how meat is prepared. But I was ordered to distribute the meat. My heart was also on the side that I would distribute the meat. So I worked from morning till 9 pm. This is what we normally used to do, but our health had deteriorated a little due to the heat. But after some time, the prayers of the relatives were answered. Therefore, I urge you not to leave your descendants to being poor. May Allah have mercy on you and keep your children with you. Embrace those whom you have left to ask in your homeland. Give them time, give them gifts and then make themselves their own generation.
